| Uploading
InformationMultiple levels of information can be uploaded
to the time clock from the TimeForce II database. Note:
The types of information that can be uploaded
to your time clock varies greatly depending on
the model of the clock being used. Refer to your
model-specific instructions for details on which
features are available for you to use. Default Allowed PeriodsWhen using allowed periods, employees are only
allowed to punch “in” or “out” at the time clock
during the range of time specified. All punch
attempts are logged, but punches that fall outside
of the specified period will be flagged with an
error code when downloaded into the  TimeForce
II system. Employees at ClockThe time clock gives you the option of restricting
the employees who are allowed to punch in and
out. If an employee who is not assigned to the
time clock attempts to punch, they will receive
an error stating that they are not assigned to
the clock and that a supervisor override is required.
The punch will be accepted by the clock, but will
be flagged with an error code when it is downloaded
into the TimeForce II system. Departments at ClockThis option allows you to define which department
levels your employees will be able to punch into
and out from at the time clock. If an employee
attempts to punch into a department that is not
assigned to the clock they will receive an error
message stating that supervisor approval is required
for this punch. The punch will be accepted by
the clock,  but will be flagged with an error
code when it is downloaded into the TimeForce
II system. Jobs at ClockThis option allows you to define that jobs that
your employees will be allowed to punch into and
out from at the time clock. Tasks at ClockThis option allows you to define the tasks that
your employees will be allowed to punch into and
out from at the time clock. Schedules at ClockThis option allows you to upload individual
employee schedules to the time clock, making it
so that employees can only punch at the clock
during the range of time specified in the
Schedule Rule that they are assigned to. Relay EventsQqest time clocks come with an optional feature
						 called "Relay Events." This feature
allows you to connect an external bell, buzzer
or other signal device to the time clock and program
specific times of the day for the signal to go
off, usually indicating scheduled start, stop
or break times. Each clock can handle up to 32
						 relay events.
