| Creating 
						 Accrual PoliciesClick on the main "Admin" tab, and 
						 then on the "Accrual Policies" link 
						 located under the Policies 
						 heading. From the main "Accrual Policies" screen, 
						 click on the [ADD] icon to create a new policy. 
							Enter a Name 
							 for this policy as you would like it to appear 
							 in the program.Select 
							 the Accrual 
							 Start Date from the drop-down 
							 menu.Select the 
							 Rollover 
							 Type from the drop-down menu. 
							 This defines how accruals will rollover from 
							 one year to the next. Detailed 
						 rollover settings are specified later on in the 
						 setup. 
							Select the 
							 Probation 
							 Period option to define that 
							 this accrual is subject to a probationary 
							 period. The following settings appear.
								Probation 
								 Period Time Frame: Enter 
								 the desired time frame, and select "Days," 
								 "Months," "Years," 
								 or "Hours" from the drop-down 
								 menu.Probation Period 
								 Setting: Select "Restrict 
								 Accruing" to prevent this policy 
								 from accruing hours until the probation 
								 period has passed. With "Restrict 
								 Absences" selected, hours for this 
								 policy will accrue, but employees will 
								 be restricted from using the accrued time 
								 off until the probation period has ended 
								 (Supervisors/Administrators will still 
								 be allowed to enter the absences if necessary). Click on the [SAVE] icon to continue. MilestonesOnce you have saved the Accrual Policy, the 
						 Milestones 
						 section of the screen appears. Milestones allow 
						 you to set up different rates of accruals based 
						 on employee seniority. This section of the setup differs depending 
						 on whether you are using "Calendar Based 
						 " or "Hours Worked Based" accruals. 
						 Click on the link below for the type of accrual 
						 that you would like to create.
